What is the difference between nitrogen and compressed air. I'm assuming that they can both get the job done equally.

CompressedAir/HPA/Nitro will give you better consistency, won't freeze up, and cleaner on your gun than C02.

However, make sure your gun can run on nitrogen. As for as starters go definately start with CO2. Works fine and you won't be able to tell the difference. Especially on a Spyder or similar entry level gun. Nitrogen is more consistent and is not as "liquidy" as CO2. I personally like nitrogen better, but I also use a cocker.

Richy_c I'm suprised your a moderator with your leval of ignorance. Nitrogen is much better than CO2 in many diferent ways. First its not in a liquid state so when you rapid fire your gun will not freeze up like it does with C02 due to the fact that the liquid CO2 will usually sifen into the gun.
Next its much more consistent, unlike liquid C02, nitrogen will stay the same pressure no matter what the temerature is. C02 will expand and contract making its pressure output very unpredictible.
So if its more consistent thus it will make your gun more accurate. Plus since it has a gauge its easier to tell how many shots you have left in your tank.

Whos more ignorant, the ignorant or the one claiming the others faults? I personally think I do a good job of moding, and I was the only one on this particular thread to give the correct answer to the question. So please, think before you speak. And if you will reread my post I state that compressed air is no differant than nitro. So, prehaps a little consideration before a pointless flame?

The question isn't about CO2, the reply isn't about C02 it's CA vs. N2 as stated they the same. Also, you'll notice a diffrence with nitro despite what gun you use.
