also, if refurbished means something was wrong with it, what was wrong. Like, was it a scratch or was the whole internals messed up, what was the degree of brokenness??

Refurbished means the gun is used, it was sent back, looked through, and deemed useful again. You get a working gun at a cheap price because its used.

A refurbished Impulse is a Impulse that someone received that had something wrong with it. Then that person sent it back to the company and said he wanted his money back. Usually they wont do this, they will usually fix it then send it back to the person free of charge. But this person didn't want it back, so impulse fixed it, and now they cant sell it for retail price because its not New. So they call it Refurbished and have to sell for a Lower price.
And what was wrong with it in the first place could be anything. It could be anything from a loose part to the bolt being stuck and wont move. Usually its small things that can easily be fixed.

basically what jordy says.. Something was wrong, and they sent it back, but it really isnt used, it was wrong from the start, like a factory defect. If it comes with a warranty buy it, you will be getting a good deal.
