PB ... find an Army/Navy or other Military surplus store in your area ... normally a new pair of BDU Camo pants costs about $30 to $40. But, they may have used Camo in the store also ... I like the tiger stripe and woodland patterns and they are great for playing in heavily wooded areas and those with lots of underbrush. But, when it comes down to it, it's all personal preference ... Get what ya like.

Yeah i would say look for a Military Surplus store, if you buy used camo form them you could probably get a whole suit for about 30, but thats the type of camo that the army uses, I like the tiger stripe but i really don't think it matters all that much.

I'm a hunter and I have lots of camo. My fav. for playing paintball is probably Mossy Oak. This suit breaks up your distinct body pattern and you become more concealed with your surroundings.

Army surplus is definently the way to go if your not picky(I got some cool Dutch camo) but it may be hard to find your size. The place I went to had predominantly smalls and I had to dig through the bin for awhile before I found the only large.

find the nearest military surplus store, besides military camo was designed for the army not to be shot, imagine how good it will do you.

Thrift stores are the way to go. I got a standard U.S. Army combat shirt for $ 3.50. They didn't have any bottoms in my size so i spent $ 15 at the surplus store for a used pair. The two items match perfectly and I only have $ 18 tied up in my camo.

Goodwill Rocks.

I agree. This is what I have and I love it. It is even more realistic looking than RealTree. It really depends on what kind of forest you're playing in. I'm in the Midwest, specifically southern Ohio. If you sit on the ground, you're like, "Hey, where'd my legs go ?" :D

for woods, i just where dark khakis, because we have shrubs all around, so when ur kneeeling, they cant see, and a camo brown and green shirt. No one can see me wherei play when i stand still. Tell me how the tguier stripe wroks, it sounds pretty cool, i might buy it.

I prefer the combat camo, but I have to admit that hunter's camo and tiger stripe camo work better. The tiger stripe pattern seems to break up the figure wearing it. It's kind of like an optical illusion or something.

If you're willing to spend money on a good camo suit like tigerstripes or something, then go ahead. Its worth it.

But if your a tight-wad like me, go for the cheap army surplus.

I'm thinking about rethinking my Camo strategy when i got to a scenario game. Let's face it, in a 15 or 20 minute Rec Game, you're not going to be doing too much Hide and Wait play. You're going to be moving, trying to capture the flag or eliminate the other team. And camo serves no purpose whatsoever in speedball games, unless of course you've got the new "Bunker" pattern.

But in Scenario games, I'm thinking you've got the time to lay ambushes, send out scout/recon teams and such, so then camo becomes more important and more useful.

Right now my main outfit is a Raven Alien Lair Green jersey (that is actually Blue) and blue tiger stripes. I also have "concrete" camos which are regular BDU woodland pattern with white thrown into the mix, When I wear them i wear a Dark Gray long sleave thermal shirt.

But now, with a scenario game only a couple months away, i'm thinking I need to seriuosly think about seriousl camo. Anyway, I'm rambling ...

tiger stripe are good in brush, and old wooded area. You don't seem too be seen that well, kinda like your eyes do tricks on you.In some games where we play its rocky no brush. And the trees are far apart, then i just wear my blue 32 degree jers. and go for it.Cause they see you where you go too anyway. Where you get them new bunker camos anyway LoL.

I'm thinking of designing some Bunker Camos that would have a pallet and plywood pattern.

Speaking of Camo; does anyone know where to get Sandana Flying Skulls camo. I saw someone wearing it several years ago, but I've never been able to find it.

I have a pair of Camo pants that I got at an Army Surplus store but there to small for me now, I wear a short sleeved shirt with leaves printed all over and a long sleeved T-Shirt. Its really good considering we play rec ball in the woods and I'm gonna set up a new strategy to sniper. If it gets really cold out I also have a camo jacket I can wear which is cool.

At my local surplus store, they had some really cool polyester/cotton blend camo t-shirts. They breath real easy and look awesome. If you play in warm weather, I'd take that approach. I get kind of hot when I run around in army camo all day.

I'm in Connecticut so it's like warm sometimes but even colder in the winter so I gotta get some warmer clothes.

I would agree with you I think realtree may work alittle better but I like the look of tiger stripe. Any way unless you are playing a very long game (scenario game) it real does't matter all that much. Much of the time (but not all :) ) at the fields I play you can see the other team before you even start. So I would say get what you like the best and don't worry too much about hiding.

BTW have you seen the spash camo on the smart parts web site. http://www.smartparts.com/ than navigate to catalog/ renegade/ Splash Camo Rib Neck Tops. I'm not too sure how good the camo would work but they look sweet. I like the Crazy Black.

I suggest that you get tiger stripe. It was designed to be used at 50 ft or less- paintball range. Woodland is good, and cheap. Dessert is good for high grass, and for in the fall and fields with a lot of man- made stuff, that swedish stuff with the red splash is nice. If you' re a sniper, a good ghille suit is a great investment. Where I play, woodland is good, because we have a little of everything. Goggle flauge and goggle skninz are also great.

Dude I got an incredible deal in Swiss Alpine Camo from cheaperthandirt.com. $9.97 for pants, shirt and a back-pack. Its like a swiss army knife of camo. I think I counted 27 pockets. It has red in it and I thought it wouldn't work but it causes some kind of opticle illusion. Plus a built in sniper veil in the hood. Its on the discounts section and there are only smalls left. Highly recommend it. Oh I forgot. It has plastic knees and butt so if you kneel/or sit on damp ground you don't get wet.
