People talk about "old" vs "fresh" paintballs.
What is the time limit before paintballs become old??
If I got a deal on a case now, would they be useable this spring-early summer??

I was told the best rule of thumb is don't buy more than you plan to shoot that day because paintballs are exzpensive and paintballs in bad shape are twice as costly.

however it would be nice if paintball did have a born on date so you knew you were getting new balls not some old crap that your dealer is trying to offload

as long as you keep them sealed in a cool, dry place you shouldn't have toworry too much. I have kept paint for months at a time and it shot fine. Climate, temperature, and the original freshness of the paint make the difference on how long you will be able to store it.
