View Full Version : HALO + Cricket..?

i was reading up on the problems with the cricket vision, and since talking about the ball bouncing up while shooting a long string, would a HALO fix that, since it is a force-feed hopper? wouldn't that fix the bouncing due to the ball detents in the HALO? and btw, what's the big deal on crickets anyway?
The 'big deal' with crickets is that they are a board which allows an imp to do full auto, and i think burst fire.
they aren't made anymore and they weren't that popular to begin with as you can't use full auto on most sites

Skog that was the genesis board you are thinking of. The cricket boards now have a blue LED a faster ROF max limit and you use small allen keys to adjust the dwell rather than a small screw driver. Its a revised board w/ vision too. The only porblem is that the vision cannot see black paint well, if at all.
As for the HALO thing, or the ball bounce back, I would assume that the HALO would help prevent that but it probably is due to blowback that causes the balls to bounce, not the board.

The point of the cricket is that you can turn the vision on and of. There is no full auto or burst.:laugh:

Cricket boards are good because they have a pretty blue light instead of an ugly green and orange one and they also chirp like a cricket! They are a more refined version of the original vision board and they are also less expensive than the original vision board. They now come stock on all impulses after roughly 12000.

alright, thanks. i'm considering getting a cricket, but i've been searching for one, but i still haven't found any. sites? i've checked FOM's, G3, IOG, PBG..
