As many of you know, most SUndays I end up reffing and setting up games. I almost never get to play. In fact I have often been asked if I DO play.
Well Sunday we had a major lack of back players. And everyone knows that front players will just wander around aimlessly if not directed by their back man (Johnny Rotton, JD, and Big Dog all were doing other things Sunday) So I strapped put two Reds belts together (to fit around me) grabed a rat and actuly played speed ball!.
Of ofcourse it takes me about the fist half of the game to lumber to my bunker- but that still leaves me a couple of minunets to play.
Actuly the real point of this post was to give you some "on the field" results with the New Designz ram. Both Walt and I used these new rams all day Sunday. We were very impressed. Both of these guns had the ND ram, SS hammers, and ND back caps. Mine has a Kapp LPR set up, Walt's a ANS LPR set up. I had asked Spork to try the ram last week, and while he reported no first shot problem, he indicated he was using a lot of gas.
With both of the guns, we had zero first shot problem. Even when first airing up the guns up, we had "normal" shots from the 1st shot on. Walt did not keep track of his shot count, but we played 4 games each time before re-filling his(68ci/4500) tank. I would start the game with 4000psi (68ci tank) and run 1000 rounds thru is and still have about 1000 psi left (1000 shots from 3000psi/68ci) Which I feel is better than advarage.
I'm impressed enought with these rams that I will be offering them in RATs
