I was wondering because i was replying to the thread "how popular is paintball in your neck of the woods?" and it, for some odd reason made me think of when i first heard of paintball.

the fist time i heard about paintball was in 5th grade, when my friend was talking about going with his friend but he was going to get a spyder (which i thought was a gun that looked like a spyder) and just go for a weekend. two years later, i finally tried it out, and it got me hooked. sadly, though, my mom wouldn't let me go, but once a year with my youth group (we use friggin maverics) but it is fun.

awesome! i went to a pomona swap meet a few months ago, and there was a ghetto style paintball gun with the 45 round hopper, 12gram cartrages, and the works! The guy said it was from 1978!

yeah, i've heard of that. pretty cool. i wish it was still like that, with pump and them little tubes, and no electro (nothing against them) markers because they shoot too fast.

was it from 1987? if not it was a cow marker, or a lumber marker, but it would be a pball marker if it was 1987, not 1978
