Now, I really like Direct Hit. It is good paint at a good price. But I noticed something today that I am kinda concerned with.
Direct Hit SWEATS. This is putting moisture on the outside of the ball. While this moisture doesnt effect the shell - it does effect accuracy.
Today's playing took my latest case from indoor storage to the outside field. In the morning there was no problem, but after it heated up I noticed there were little beads of sweat inside the bag, and inside my tubes... this ended up in my hopper and barrel. Not a lot... just enough to notice and enough to make my afternoon shots just not as precise as before. Now, this is still as accurate as Marbs... it aint bad at all - just not quite as good as it was while the weather was cooler.
This isnt saying much - all paintballs have problems in the heat - swelling and softening etc... Direct Hit just sweats.
I can see Direct Hit really shining in the winter... When other balls are bouncing, this stuff will still break on target.
