I was thinking about upgrading to HPA because I am not getting the consistancy I want from my cocker running on co2. If I mainly play in the summer outdoors and indoors w/ climate control, will HPA make much of a difference? Also keeping in mind that HPA is a BIG investment, will this improve the consistancy on my gun the most out of all the upgrades in the price range?

Yes, an adjustable (read adjustable) will provide the biggest increase in consistency over just getting a new regulator. An inexpensive reg with an input pressure 200 psi over the output will perform better than a high end reg with an input pressure 450 over the output. Some good inexpensive adjustable tanks are the PMI PE line as well as the AGD flatline. Moving up the line into the 4.5K pressure ranges is the macDev conquest (probably the best adjustable 4.5 tank) which also happens to be the cheapest. other good tanks are the centerflag tanks, Geddon and maxFlow
