I wouldn't like sprinting with a tank bumping around on my back...

and having the tank on the back of the gun usually ballances your gun nicely

i would think a front player would be more likely to use one, to make them more compact, but i like remotes but i just got a cocker, and im using a drop on it, the tippy was toooooo long to have a tank on it

well, I think it's easier to snap shoot with.

personally i think that if ur a front player u should have a tank under the gun cuz the wire will only get in the way cuz if u look at the bunkers in tournaments u ahve to get into weird shapes like laying down cones and stuff. also it will take away accuracy if u don't have a tank tucked against ur shoulder imo. but its about fit

They are not used much cause first off all tourny packs have no where to pu them and second they screw uo the balance of your gun. More things to get tangled up in and go wrong, not a good idea

all good points . . . generally, its hard to keep a steady shot when not shouldering your gun . . . try it next time you play, hold your gun away from you, aim and start shooting. now try the same thing while shouldering your gun, aim and shoot . . . you will probably have better results when you were shouldering your gun.

front players have to HAUL some butt on the break and a tank bouncing around on your back will just slow you down. it really wouldn't even help you tuck in anymore (alot of players prefer on gun with out a drop, but) if you use a drop like a dz2, the back of the marker is right in front of your mask, can't tuck any tighter than that . . .

makes it harder to switch hands and shoot to your off hand side. puts more weight on your pack for less paint.
