Um....no. Are you sure your not tightening it harder each time or something?

Strange. If it shoots okay I wouln't worry about it. It will only go in so far anyway.

im having kinda the same problem with my stock barrel on my spyder sonix I just got. Whenever I try to screw the barrel in it sometimes gets stuck and I have to unscrew it then rescrew it back in. Most times it screws in just fine. Other times it sqeaks when I screw it in.
It isnt that much of a problem, but when I look at the barrel threadings they do look a little warped cause in some places there isnt paint, its just plain silver. But, Im gonna be getting my all american barrel in the mail in the next few days I think, so I hopefully wont have to worry about it anymore.

most all the samrt parts barrels do that, my freak barrel would be upside down if i didnt screw it in right, my other buddies freak barrell did the same thing, my other buddies all american does it too. nothing wrong with your barrell, its normal.

I have two Smart Parts Progressives and three All Americans and I have never noticed that so I guess I will check out next time. I usually use my BOA with my Micromag and it doesn't have any markings on it.

You probably don't have anything to worry about.
However, if it starts screwing in far enough to block your loader, then you might have an issue.

Dumb heads... the reason why it screws in wrong is because u dont screw it in straight. hold the gun in your left and the barrel on your right and hold them both straight, then screw it in. (vice versa if you are lefty). Also screw in the barrel to u get some resistance or when it stops. Make sure u have a rubber O-ring by the threads also. OuT.

lol, we screw it in right, its like the ano on the threads is coming off so theres more room for it 2 go in i think.

yes very common problem you can't do anything about it really..
i was screwing in the barrel on my timmy and was trying to get the jt words straight.. no matter how many times i unscrewed and turned the barrel then screw it in..
it would never go right side up..
it kept ending up, upside down on the right side.. i gave up after about 20 tries :p
