Females in paintball

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the gentler sex's presence in this sport of ours. Most girls I have talked to seem scared or hesitant about it. And from what I gather there is negligable female population in this forum. Is it just a matter of time before paintball get's more universaly popular or is it just a bunch of boys with their toys? I have played with a couple women and the first thing I noticed is they're alot harder to hit(at least the ones I played with) due to their size, hiding in the tightest spots that I would never think of. Maybe paintball would be more popular with the ladies if they knew how cute they looked holding a paintball gun;).

It depends on the girl. For example some of my friends that are female would be way to timid and affraid to ever play. On the other hand I have 3-4 girls going with me next week who are very excited about it and not worried about geting hit at all.

I think part of the reason why paintball is so popular among men compared to women is that men love their stuff. YOu know what I mean, gotta have the fastest car, biggest stereo, High definition TV, Jetski, snowmobiles, satelite dish etc etc. That's just men, that's how we are. And most of you would be liars if you told me right to my face that you dont obsess over your eqipment. Brag about it, spend time staring at better equipment in magazines. You've gotta have the highest BPS, the lowest pressure, coolest ano, most efficient gun. That's how guys are. Women in general dont get nuts over these things like men do. But, not to say women cant be good paintball players. I played a couple weekends ago with some 24 year old woman, who had an impulse, and she was vicious. She musta bunkered about 4 people each and every game. Which was funny, because most of us bought into the typical stereotype that "Oh, she's a chick, she'll just hang back". Boy were we wrong

I agree with elTwitcho, one of the girls I played with got into this huge firefight that went on forever. Her and the guy she was going at it with ended up being the last 2 in the game and she eventually won the it. It all depends on the girl. For instance I just saw an armored bra and panty set online, I'd like to meet the girl who wears those.

well i dont understand some woman, i cant get my wife to try paintball because she's afraid of the welts or bruises,
but she is taking martial arts lessons and comes home with bruises anyway go figure

my now ex fiance loves paintball. so it's a huge thing to see women in the sport. have to agree with a previous comment.. women in camo or jerseys with guns do look kinda cute... hehe

Woah..deja vu. I just read the above post twice in this thread!

Some women are playing and more and more get into it. I was eliminated by the field owners daughter last time I played(Monster Game at Paintball Sams). She was very good, it didnt help that I was behind a 2 foot tree on a hill but still.

I've played with women and against them....great thing about paintball is that anyone can play. It is hard convincing those that dont want to play to play...guess its just preference.

Yep you did say that out loud. But don't worry your just saying what everyone's thinking (not about Natalie of course). Girls look so ****ing cute in mens clothes, with the sleeves that are just a little to long. oooh baby. The fact that it's paintball clothes is just icing.

I don't know. They seem to be faster, harder to hit, and fast at changing tanks/ cartriges,( look how fast she can twist that lipstick!!...) But their numbers ar'nt that high, and don't shoot that straight, but they make up for it. They also have a better opinion on what color gun and gear to get...
