i have a spyder shutter, and i want to buy a lapco drop forward, and a regulator for it ( i was considering selling my gun and buying an automag, but then i decided not to)I was wondering if ne one know how to make this setup work on the shutter, like what i would need. ( As in hose lengths, types of hose adaptors. if id need ne special adaptors because the sypder uses metric screws. etc) neone know how i can do add these two pieces to my gun, and how it will work

Well you will need to make sure that you buy the lapco DF that is for spyders. You will need the fittings for the drop foreward and for the reg and I would reccomend geting macro line instead of steel braided or micro line.

Im not gonna need any special adapters am i , cause i know the spyder reuglator i had on the gun was metric, is the one on the drop forward metric or standard if i buy the spyder model. And ill probably go macro, but whats the difrence between that and steal braided line, i thpught they were the same diamater, but steel braid was tougher

The reason you would want the metric lapco DF is so that it would fit spyders. Macro has a much higher flow rate than steel braided. With steel braided you have to buy pre-sized lengths of it, but with macro you cut the line yourself to fit.

benchmark sells an adapetr for spyders that will let you use "any" straight two hole drop....it's only about ten bucks and comes with the replacement screws and nuts that go into the grip.....

u guys dont exactly get what i mean, its probably cause i dont explain things good enough. I know the drop forward is made to fit spyder guns, what i mean is i plan on buying the one with the bottem line thing on it already, and all i want to know is the on the bottem line, where u would screw in ur line, is that metric like on a sypder or standard . I know that if the place to screw in your line is metric, id have to buy a special metric to standard elbow in order to screw in my line which would then connect to the reg, which i know is standard screw type, thats all, thanks
