Is there any particular reason you don’t want oil in your barrel? Also if so how do you get it out safely. And one more question if you slightly over oiled your gun what’s the best way to get rid of the excess oil? Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of reasons not to put oil in your barrel.

1. It isn't safe. It makes the speed of you balls very erratic.

2. Some oils will effect the shell on a paintball. this coudl cause the ball to break before it hits the target or in you barrel.

The only way to clean oil out of your barrel that I know of is a good washing in Dawn or other dish washing liquid that will break up lipids.

Wipe off what excess oil you have in your gun....and then dry fire it a couple of times. This should clean out the excess oil.

I just had the pleasure of seeing air gun oil get in my barrel.. your worried about erratic paintball speeds ?

try TOTAL inaccuracy.. and erratic speed.. a clean barrel is a good shooting barrel, keep the lube on the moving parts, and specially those O rings.

just put oil on the threads of the barrel.
