Lots of fields don't allow electros and I thought I heard that electros can't be used in tournies either. So what is the point of having an electro?

Have I been getting messed up info. or is this a reasonable question.

Thanks,
BEn

Sounds like messed up info to me. Most tourney players use electros, and only a small few fields ban electros

you are probably mixing up full auto and electro
electro is a marker that uses an electric trigger instead of manual operation
it does not mean that it shoots full auto, instead it can shoot in different modes depending on the gun: full auto, burst, semi, zip, turbo, etc
i have never seen or heard of a field or turney that banned electros
unless of course it is a strictly semi tunrney

With turbo on a shocker, if it's on and you start shooting fast, the gun basically goes full-auto up to 11.2 b.p.s. I think tthat there is an article on http://www.warpig.com that explains it in detail.

so turbo is the same as zip. so if you start fanning the trigger than you ould get 11 balls per sec. with turbo on

zip is a kind of a modified burst mode that shoots slower than the top rof of your gun, it gives more control and is more legally accepted
(im pretty sure thats what zip is anyway)
turbo is a semi mode that shoots more than one ball per trigger pull and kicks in when you start shooting faster than a certain rof so that you can reach and hold high rof easier

by the way, you dont want to fan your trigger, its a bad habit (hoping that you know what it is)

fanning the trigger is just when you move your hand back and forth and not pulling trigger fully in right
