what do you want out of a paintball field? would you want it to be just paintball or other extreme sports ( dirtbiking, skatboarding, etc.) all in one.
Describe your ultimate paintball park/extreme park

i would want a urban paintball facility about the size of new york with sky scrapers so you could have large scale urban combat with like 5000 people

well i mean to say just take new york city and make it in into the a giant paintball field

I would rather have more of a small town setting. With smaller buildings, and houses. Mark and area of the town as the "exit" and play a Resident Evil game at night where one team had to escape from the town and the other team had to stop them.

if someone made a replica of new york and suburbs it would be neat to play paintball on

Ahhh imaginations. First of all, my park would be ONLY paintball. Skaters, bikers, etc can have their own fantasy park. Anyways, my field wouldn't just include a couple of scenario fields, but also concept/speedball. My list would be-

- 5 Unique Hyperball fields (All different and some very large)
- 5 Sup' Air Fields (All different and one of them VERY large)
- 3 Scenario Fields (Fort, Village, and Deep Woods)
- 2 Spool Fields (They're fun)
- 2 Shrink Wrap Fields (White covering... like on barrels)
- 2 Huge Woods fields w/ pallets, etc.
- 2 Pallet Fields (The big orange pallet things)
- 4 Alternate Speedball Fields (Tires, cars, plywood, etc.)
- Next to the outdoor fields- One HUGE indoor speedball field

I would have an ENORMOUS staff run the place, everyone is nice and not one As*hole would run the place, a lot of refs, a couple off highly trained airsmiths, and the manager would be... me! Well, not me, but still. Anyone else like this field!? Oh yeah, it would be open 7 days a week from 9:00 in the morning till 6:00 at night. There are some night games too at 7:00- 10:00. Damn this is some dream. Why doesn't Bill Gates do this? :eyes: :)

this one just can to mind.......

a 25 vs. 25 airball field with 1500 acres of forest surrounding it.
the airball field could have up to 25 on 25 . and the others would be in the woods. the teams would be..... 500 on 500. that would kick major ***.

Alright, so the was alittle far fetched. But, hey, im 12, my mind tends to wonder:D

my idea? the field near chicago, run by brass eagle, challenge park xtreme, they actually did something well. they have over TWO DOZEN playing fields, they have one field that is a complete replica of a small town 10 BLOCKS!, including cars and mailboxes, and second floors. they have anoterh town appropriately called armageddon, which is like the other town, but it looks like a nuke hit it. theres a replica of a ruins of a mayantemple, and a field of fort courage, which is an actual fort. man i would kill to play there, damn

Have you ever snuck into a city fair at night? With nearby street lights as your only source of light, and the indoor parts to the rides open? My god..that was the best ever.
That would be my dream field. An abandoned fair/ amusement park. With all the booths in place, the rides, the porta potty's..etc.
Any one like this idea? My friends mom called me pshychotic when I told my friends about this idea, I think she was oking about my mental state.
Of course It dosn;t have to be played at night...it could also be turned into a scenario...like "Kill the clowns!"

Sweet jesus!

Thats awsome! My local field is pretty sweet. It pales in comparison though, its like comparing a 20 year old Nation Geographic to a Dumptruck full of free stuff! My local field is Paintball Heaven. It has a Ghost town, 2 floors, and a Tee-Pee field, a capture the fort area, a regular huge field, and a tube filled field. Its pretty well sut-up, but a 10 block town!? Sweet Jesus!

i go to challenge park, and its ok. here's why its not as good as you think...

1. not byop. gotta buy field paint. u dont even know what brand it is. 500 rounds for $20. 500 for $25 for the"premium" paint

2. there are good fields, but the only one that is constantly running is the little town. (everyone wait in a line and 40 people go in at a time)

3. for the rest of the fields, you have to wait for them to call an open game there over a loudspeaker. (if you want a specific field, you can wait for hours)

4. the little town is only a single floor. not 2 story buildings.

5. no speedball/hyperball fields. the speedball area has a few sup-air, and hyperball fields, but they aren't open to the public. gotta be in a private game, or be playing in a tourney.

6. long time between games. you only get to play one or two games on a field(other than the town), but after that most people are outta paint. then you have to go back to the staging area, and wait another 20 min. for them to call another open game.

i'll admit that the fields are like nothing you've ever seen, but you may not get to play as many games as you would at another field. the paint prices really suck too

if i had 1 million dollars i would make a better town than they did i would have 2 story building which u said they do not and i would have a sewer so people can go and hide down there, and 80 foot water tower along with all the other buildings cars and trees

Like 20 or so woods ball fields, over 20 speed ball fields, tons of staff, pro shop, snack bar, HPA fills up to 4500psi (obviously), repair shop, etc.

If you are ever in the Southern California area, there is no way you can not check it out. The place rocks.

Check it out at www.scvillage.com

arrrg im so jealous of people who live near SCVillage. They have rental cockers w/ revvy's. My field in Kansas rents out raptors and m98s that don't work half the time. I wish I lived somewhat closer to them.

True, but that Rent-a-Cocker will cost ya $30. Otherwise, it's Tippmann Pro Carbines. :O NO, rental Tippmann Pro Carbines. Agggh!!

So just to rub it in, all day Arena Ball, $10, with another $10 for all day HPA. BYOP. Take that, midwesterners. ;) :D

hahahah, i go to challenge park, actually i just went yesterday, so many people say it is bad but i love it, armageddon is soooo fun, it usually isnt crowded, you just have to go on weekdays, i usually buy 1000 rds of genirec paint which works well, it is 40 bucks but you get what you buy for, the refs are very nice to me at least, at the begining of the day when there isnt a lot of people there they let you play on some fields as long as you want, one place is fort courage, which has four two story towers and the indians have to capture it while the cowboys defend, another file is wasteland and it is made of all junkie cars and it is really big, there wooded fields are fun too. They have the best theamed field in the us. Everything looks so good, and they have real bathrooms with running water, and they have nice techs. Someone said it is disneyland of paintball, guess who designed it, disney, but they do have the worst renatls on earth, they r crappy piranhas, but i cant complain because i never have had to use them.

You go through all these cow farms for miles and than you turn and out of no where is this big entrance where it says, "SC Village". It stinks on the way too. Cow pies should not be eaten like real pies. That is kind of weird, 2 things which are great to eat alone but are just wrong together. Like Pizza and Ice Cream.
