I've decided on getting the bigshot but I don't know which one to get. What great advantage does the ss one have over aluminum. I live in Canada so the ss is $125. I dont know if it's worth the money??? I've also heard that the ss is very heavy for it's size.

SS will have a better hone....it will be smoother and create less friction. Yes, it is heavy for the size, but balances with a tank fairly well.
There is very little performance difference, but it still is there. I'd go with the aluminum in your case.

could the aluminum barrel get bent and damaged a lot easier. Cuz, taking a dive and bending the barrel would suck.

you cannot bend aluminum or stainless steel unless you put a hammer to it

SS is heavier, but paint doesnt stick to it at all. with the alunimum, if u break a ball, u have to squeege. with the SS, all u do is shoot like 4 balls, and it cleans itself. But with any smartparts barrel, you shouldnt be breaking balls.

I don't think SP makes a bigshot barrel, i think Lapco fits better in front of Bigshot then Smart Parts does.

aluminum is a weaker metal and more easily to dent as well. Aluminum will also slightly expand and contract in hot and cold tempatures.

there isn't a significant difference in performance between the two materials
