Well, here's the story. Guy over fills tank two of my tanks. Both tanks blows copper blow disk in safety valve. Go to a another shop to get some new ones. After removing the safety valves I notice a little o-ring in the 12oz, but not one in the 16oz. NOTE: It may have been there, it's very possible it dropped out unnoticed. Anyway, I go to another shop to get some new valves since the old ones are blown and tell the employee about one not having a o-ring. She says that's normal. ??? Is that right? She gives me two new safety valves and installs them for me, and checks tanks. Says good to go. Well, the 12oz is fine. Works perfect. The 16oz, the one without the o-ring, seems to have a sticking pin valve problem now. When I remove the safety valve is works fine, put it back in and slightly tighten it the pin sticks again. I'm starting to think there should have been a o-ring. So, at this point I just want to buy a new pin valve and be done with this whole mess. Has anyone ever took one off? I put a decent amount of pressure on it while the tank was in a vice and it would not budge. Do I just need to use more pressure on it? I'm assuming a Bulldog replacement pin valve will work fine. 2nd question, how do you remove the Tippmann style pin valves? They are round! There's nothing to grab with. Seems like I have read about pin valves going bad and needing to be replaced, so there has to be a way. All help is greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: Finally got the pin valve off using a bigger vice and much torque. I shaved a little off of the pin and reassembled. No leaks, and pin now works correctly when safety valve is installed. However, the tank will not accept more than 3oz! I tried chilling it several times and checked my fill station but nothing works. Will only take 3oz. Weird. A new Bulldog valve is only $6.00 so I'm going to put one on and try that out. Still would like to know how to remove a tippmann style pin valve however.
