I hate it when other people won't play against people withe high end semi's or angels ect. because they have some ****ty gun like a spyder compact! i mean it's not the gun who wins it's the player and people like that are such chickens. just because they think anybody with an angel can kick their butt. don't you think so??

Yeah..its kinda dumb...but put yourself in the other persons shoes...most people who have lover end guns are newer players...just learning and trying to figure the game out...then all of a sudden this guy walks in with a gun that is "capable" of fast rates of fire and doing damage in the right hands...how do you know what hands are going to beat you into the ground and the ones that are gonna make your bunker look all nice and pretty...its just a shear intimidation factor...its like when you see this sweet sports car on the road and your lie ah man that rocks ...I'll go behind them cause I know they will drive fast and I can drive in their wake...then wen the are going like 10 under the limit you find out its just a granny...it will take some tim efor the newer players to realize that some people have rich parents and are themselves still learning.

It may help a bit in a speedball match to have a higher rate of fire but in a rec game, give me a break! I got a friend that just settles for a brass eagle talon and he manages to tag people at a decent distant. Why? That's because he knows how to adjust with the gun he's using (ie lobbing, etc), make his shots count without giving his location, and all that other jazz. He's pegged be quietly a few when I'm sneaking about with my Tippmann C98. In one particular game I let my friend use the Tippmann and I used his PT Extreme (with only 10 shots mind you) and the distance is only great at close range. Comparing the two markers I definately was outclassed not only in range but also the amount of shots I could make. Well he was walking through this trench, the PT Extreme with a little wind was causing the balls to arch to the right slightly. To make a short story he thought i couldnt get him because of the range problem, so i lobbed it, it arched just the way it was supposed to, and popped him in the shoulder. It's all in how you use the marker, if i had a dime for everytime i hear a 12 year old kid say that he would rather die to let someone use his angel, autococker, etc in exchange for a brass eagle, i'd be a rich man. This is after all a game.

I no but when i first played with my rebel didn't care who i was going against and i was a newbie. but it would be hard to win in speedball tho.

Yeah...a little harder...but they have published stories from tournies in APG and this one guy decided he was going to use a phantom for a game in the tourny and in the end it came down to him and his phantom and some guy with an angel...the other guy walked off the field while he hung the flag...its not always the gun but mre your ability to play...a higher rate of fire can only enhance your abilities at certain times...or else you are just makeing the persons bunker look pretty...

A rec game would be where they are the funnest cause you dn't have to worry about major wins and loses...you can just hone your skills....and the fact that it really don't matter if their are other semi's or not...get better then they are. Flash...the mod of the canadian forum...he plays speed ball with his pt enforcer...tahts right ten shots in the mag...he does fine....

But we have to constantly cover his ***, thats why he does fine... hehe

He's got mad skills. There is no doubt there. But when that 10 rounds is gone, he needs the cover fire.

Thats why it will be kick *** once we all have better guns.
I am counting the days...
