I recently bought an ACI hornet Pump gun, which i cherish ever so much (even though it's my first paintball gun owned, let alone a pump gun) and think is remarkably awesome, for $160CDN/$100US; but some dude thinks his Brass Eagle StingrayII Semiautomatic is a better buy for $80 US with a mask. Now, I bought my marker out of pure impulse (basically, it was the cheapest one there that looked like it had some semblance of quality) and I try to avoid buying crap that breaks after a few usages. So who's right? Also, I wanted to try a pump gun since it seemed at the time to be more skill intensive than a semi.

No doubt man, especially if you added a longer barrel, that thing would kick, make it a snyper!

Yeah, even though yours is a pump, it still even better than the Rainmaker(bottom of the line).

um, no. have you ever shot a rainmaker? those things are awesome. They have an electronic trigger and the new ones are accurate as hell. Only problem is that BE hasn't worked all the bugs out and you may be sending it back for repairs a lot although it has a warranty so that's free.

The gun you got is better than a stingray because people can say all they want about stingrays being good beginner guns but they're wrong. Never buy this gun, go for a talon instead, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and will last longer without breaking.

The problem is your comparing a pump to a semi which is hard to do at all. aci is a decent company and they make good products, with the exception of their C/A tanks, so i would have to say that the ACI pump would be a better marker than a stingray. stingrays brake alot, at least my buddies does. BE does back their products well though, they have to or no one would buy the crap they make, whenever their stuff brakes they are willing to fix it, so thats nice.
