i don't play at a regulated field so we more or less know everyone so we try not to light each other up.

Usually, I wouldnt get so close that it would hurt that bad if I shot them... so let em rip! But if i did get close enough i would have them surrender.

Nice to see some sportsmanship around. Personally, I would ask people to surrender. For reference though, if someone walked up and shot me 5 times @ five feet, it had better be the last game of the day. You do that, you show me how you want to be treated, and I will make sure you realize there are consequences for acting like that.

At our local field you have to make them surrender. when I play in the woods i play with all my friends so I don't want to light them up. Plus, it is embarassing when you are forced to surrender.

i usually say "saftey kill" it's good when they put up their hand and walk off the field. but the second they turn around, and don't call themselves out. I lite'em up!

i think all the peeps in here are too nice my friends and i have had a match were no shirts were allowed(not a good sight) but it was funny cause when u get hit man it hurts like a mug but u got somethin to show your girlfriend the next day if shes not playin lol

What would be scary if you had a "nam" vet at your field and he's all comando VC **** and your a newbie and you just sitting there in the back. You hear a radio, It says "I see a lonley gook 12 o'clock, I'm gonna make it quiet gimmie my blade" THAT WOULD SUCK!!! Some guy has flshback and doesn't quit even though hes covered in paint.....If he didn't have flashbacks he'd be setting Bamboo traps for the VC.....Military fanatics are scary....Got off topic....If I came up behind someone I would start shooting and over the gun fire I would yell"hey surrender why aren't you surrendering?? SUREENDER" by that time your outta paint and you hear a certain familiar radio...

I can understand if someone shoots you in the back instead of surrendering, hoewever if the first one breaks there's no need for anymore. If someone shot me 5 or six times I'd lite them up, despite if I'm out or not, 1 is all that is needed, 3 is acceptable(I and many others use 3 shot bursts because it increases our chances) 5 or 6 is uncalled for, and deserves retribution. Another thing I don't like is if your reloading your hopper and you get hit, the guy can see it, but because you didn't call yourself out, he continues to light you up, that's uncalled for, it also hurts. I've only had the latter of the two happen, but if the first ever does, that player better be able to run fast.

I try not to make people surrender. Though it is the more humane way, it is also a bit more dangerous. In that time that you must ask him(her) to surrender, he could compromise your position or it may give his friends time to retaliate. So I just try and shoot where it wont hurt. Like the strip of the mask. Or have him/her put his/her gun up in the air. And then shoot it (if your field accepts gun shots). I know this may sound a little more evil, but then again, this is a game associated with shooting.

i always tap them on the back as quiet and as professional as i can,,usually whispering to them,"ok you both have now surrendered"caus other enemies are near by,,if anyone didn't give me the option of surrendering(never happened yet) and just open fired on my back/head like TJ described it would be then a boxing match caus i would love to box a smart ***,,and i wouldn't care,,beat the fuc* out of you ,,grab your gun and throw it at some rocks you ****i*ng monkey,,,

hey one time we were playing in a junkyard and i saw 2 people go in a dump truck so i snuck right up to the door,opened it and unloaded on the 2 people in it.i had my gun on full auto and they were covered in paint it was funny.
