I have been wondering whether or not to buy a pump marker. I heard they are a good thing to get to get to improve skill and what not. SO should I buy a pump and if so which one (Nothing expensive rather NOT spend over $50).
Thankyou

for 50, you could get a used Maverick, Hammer etc. they are rad guns, but if you wanna take pump seriesly, get a sniper 2 or a phantom. Their way more expensive though.

if ur low on cash and want a pump, get the kingman hammer, and after that you may want to save for a phantom. don't buy any BE crap.

The tigershark is actually an OK gun. My suggestion would be a hammer or a trracer for that amount. If you like it, you cant go wrong with a phantom later on.

YES!! GOOD LORD!! GET A PUMP!
Well, for 50 bucks...hmm... yeah, try a maverick or a BLACK BE 'shark, that was my first gun, and it was pretty cool.
I own a phantom now, and let me tell you, I Love it, and It's the best gun I'll ever own.

Well let's see...buy a decent pump....and you have the following benefits:
For $10 you can buy enough air in Co2 cartridges to play all day for two days and part of a third.
For $20 you can buy enough paint to play the same amount of time.
Your skills DO improve. I haven't shot my electronic Shutter in so long, and then I went to the tourny last weekend and started laying paint and did awesome once I figured out that I didn't have to pump if I missed.
There's no batteries for a hopper or the gun or anything.
The "Rambo" look with a Co2 cartridge bandolier drives the redneck girls crazy.....if that's the kinda girl you like.
You can play whenever you want, as money is no longer a major object...it's as cheap as laser tage or cheaper for godsakes. I use maybe $3 worth of paint/air every game I play with my pump, and when you consider I'm playing speedball so stealth isn't really as much part of my game as it would be in the woods, and the cartridge costs 50 cents.....that's really damn good. There was a time at night at the speedball field I went 2 on 1 with my pump, the other two shooting semi-auto. I wisely chose the dark end of the field. off the break, I waited a bit, then crawled to the nearest tire in the blackness and patiently waited. I used three paintballs and about 1/10th of a cartridge and shot them both when they came downfield to look for me.
I reccomend, for $50, a used PGP, Traccer, Maverick, or, yes, a Tigershark.

AND, 'sharks come with a quick-change, unlike some cheap pumps.
Yea, When I play speedball with my phantom, I only buy 500 balls, and I rarely use more than 350 (when I play stock, I use less than 200). I also usualy only fill my 9 oz. twice.
o yeah, and a "day" for me is usually 10 or so hours. of speedball.
Pumps own.
