View Full Version : VooDoo Bolt too small?

I bought a voodoo bolt and i think i have a problem. I can see thru the back of the gun, around the bolt, and a out the front of the gun. you can just barely see thru, but it think it is enough to cause the bad blowback i'm getting. When one balling (i suck at 1 balling and was against a decent player with a full hopper and a shocker, it was traumatizing:() with a fully stacked feed tube, the top 1 or two balls would fly out. i am also getting really weird FSDO. my first 5 shots work up to maximum velocity and it goes back down really quick. i don't think that is caused by the bolt though. do you guys think that the bolt might be a little too small? what should i do about it? send it back to E-pbo?

same problem with me......If u use a ricochet i chop like a mad man but if I use my 12volt revvy w/xboard and vortex impeller then i have NO chops. I dont know why? I also dont see how that little bit of blowback would effect anything...i cant feal it when i put my hand over the feed tube like i can when i use to use my dragun but if u put something like a paper towel over it then u can notice a little blowback. The only time i choped with it was when i tilted my gun a little when shooting left handed and let out a fast string...still i just shot a few shots and sqweegied and then i was shooting just as strait as i was before i choped. i orderd mine from E-pbo too but maybe that is just how a voodoo bolt is sapose to be or something?

Because Ricochet's are slower than 12 volts, AND you had an impellor.

Some space around the bolt is normal, however blowback isn't.

Try another bolt if you get a chance, and legnthen your dwell a hair.

yea that is what i think....but when i put my stock bolt in my gun i had little or no chops with my ricochet?

Blowback couldn't be caused by my new lpr mod could it? i don't see how, but i just got it too.

Nah, an lpr wouldn't cause blowback.

actually, ricochets are faster than 12v revvys, with or with out x-board/impellors, if you don't believe me then check out the loader speed test (http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/loaders/lineup/index.shtml) at Warpig
