Depends on what you want out of a barrel:
12" speedball
14" woods

For speed ball your going to want a 10".
For long distance shots your going to want a 14".
12" is a happy middle ground.
12 and 14 inch longs sport the same accuracy. However it's easier to sight down a 14in creating the illusion of a more accurate barrel.

14. The whole, "I need a small barrel to fit into the bunker better" is BS. 14 is good with substantial porting only.

It's not the size that counts, it's how you use it! :P
Seriously, anything over 12" doesn't realy do anything, and can decrease your accuracy and efficiencly.

On sup air it does.If you have a long barrel you can push it into the bunker and still hide behind the bunker better than if you have a short barrel.

You play by running and shooting the other people and trying to not get shot.

Bs? The next time your playing front and your trying to tuck into a bunker half your size and snap shoot you'll want a smaller barrel too.
Shorter barrels allow you to play closer to the bunker which makes you a harder target to hit at an angle. It's not hard to understand.

all depends what type of game u are playing.
Sup air, u would want a longer barrel because you can push the air bunkers in with the barrel
Speedball in a lego field, I would play with a 10" or maybe a 8" depending how i feel, it really doesnt matter.
But the longer barrel more accurate rumor is a myth.

I was talking to a guy at my local paintball shop and he said that evreybody wants the 14 inch barrels but the 12 inch barrels are just as good. He mentioned the bunker topic and he said that the common theory behind barrel size is that each inch past ten will give you an extra 10 feet of range. He said that this however is pointless, seeing as how the extra 10 feet you may get if you hit somebody with it, it won't break the ball. He said 12 inch is 90% of the time the best way to go.

The 12 is a good long and short distance barrel its the happiest everywhere and really anything over 12 could be defective for long shots and accuracy

anything over 14" is gonna make the barrel actually lose range
