Hey what up, I'm a newbie and have saved up 700 for a gun. I was thinking of getting an M98 with a flatline, 6 level expansion chamber, powerfeed, double trigger, M16 Stock, die stikygrip, and of course JT gun stickers. This all together with all masks, jerseys, gloves, etc... is 599.95.
I thought this would be a pretty good gun. Should I get this or an spyder xtra with all the fixins?

GO WITH IT!! Or you could get the 32 degrees tricked out one and get the flatline (im not sure how much it costs tho but it think its around your price) and i think it has more stuff. With the extra $100 get the gear you need.

or you can get this 32* one at http://www.expresspaintball.com for $460 (comes with NyteStikk, E-bolt, etc. very nice!!!!!)

Dude, the 98 is one sweet gun but if you have saved up 700 bucks, I'd just go ahead and get an electro marker. For example, you can get the Impluse Vision for $550 (it is electronic with an anti-chop eye so you CAN NOT BREAK PAINT!!!!) with a reveloution loader and 48 ci nitro tank (you get about 600 shots per fill).

the only thing i dont like about the model 98's is how you disassemble the gun, unlike most guns, you take it apart by seperating it into two halves, i prefer solid bodies instead of ones that come apart in half (more prone to lost parts)
its a good gun, but thats the only thing i dont like about it and it feels a little to heavy and long for me
