Ugh, I dunno about that. It's my opinion that boomsticks, while good, are overrated. I've looked at barrel tests, and every one I've seen has put the Lapco Bigshot on top. Go with that and buy something else with the money you save.

Well, having played extensively with both the Prolite and the M98/M98custom, I would say that I love the prolite for scenario games but if you play alot of regular/fast paced games with alot of firing, get the M98/custom. The trigger pull is ALOT shorter and a HECK of a lot lighter, almost cocker light. The only thing I don't like about the m98 is the shotty stock barrel and the fact the body is two pieces screwed together. It's still a Tippmann which will not let you down, but unless you want a LONG gun, get a remote as well. Boomsticks are good but I wouldn't put one on a m98, you're spending too much money, get a Lapco, or a J&J, they're cheaper and will be just as effective (if not better) than a boomstick.

i'd go for it because i really dont like the 98 and i do like the boomstick. if you have the money to get one do it. get rid of the 98.

dont get a boomstick. get a lapco bigshot. i've seen both perform, and they arent too different. even my local shop owner admits that he thinks the lapco bigshot is a more accurate barrel than the boomstick.
