Which performs better nitrogen or compressed air? I have heard HPA systems get called nitro systems, is this done for the sole purpose if being confusing or am I missing something? I've also heard that it is hard to find places to fill nitrogen and that it is best to get a fill station and a scuba tank. Is HPA easier to fill? Clarity please!!!!!!!!!!!

Nito and compressed air are different but perform exactly the same, basically. The term HPA(high pressure air) simply refers to both systems.

To answer the first question, Compressed Air is better. It's a thicker gas and less pressure is needed. How much less? Very little 3-10 PSI at most. COmpressed air is 90% nitrogen and is the air we breathe. That is what's in a scuba tank filled by a scuba shop. Nitrogen is generally what is filled at a paintball shop.
If a paintball store sells nitro tanks then they generally fill them. Find out who fills them in your area before purchasing one.
A scuba tank will give you 2 or 3 3k fills. After that they will give you 5 or 6 2500 fills then about 10 1500 fills. They have the pressure but not the volume to do a lot of 3k fills.
