I'm getting an M98 flatline, 6 stage aci expansion chamber, double trigger, M16 stock, die sticky grip, and of course JT stickers. I was wondering if this would be to large of a gun for paintball. Also what size Co2 should I get. I would want it to last me the full day without refill.

That is a large gun, way to large for speedball (flatline in speedball, haha) and it would be ok for woods games. I would go with a 20. OZ. co2, you will get about 900-1000 off it on a M98

What makes the flatline crap in speedball?

don't use the flatline for speed because after awhile in the air they begin to go up

i suggest a 14" or 12" barrel and a 6-7in drop forward

The flatline is all about distance. Distance doesn't mean squat in speedball, it's all about speed. (hence the name;)) the "smaller" the gun, the better when it comes to speedball.

I would go with a 20 oz tank too, if you wanna be sure to last the whole day. I'm not sure how much of an air hog the m98 is, but depending on how much you shoot, you may be able to get by on a 12 oz. But no matter what tank you get, i would get a backup one too, just in case.

if your gonna do speedball flip your tank backwards.it will shorten up your gun.but it might be unbalanced.

Yes, so skip the flatline and the stock, and get a Response trigger and a big drop-forward. (my opinion) I used to have a pro-carbine. I liked it a lot but it was too long and slow for me. Now I have an Impulse and it's much better.
