well if you go to http://www.paintballgear.com and go under barrels and pick which one you want on the top left hand corner it should say which bore size each barrel is and bore size is to show how big the bore is in the barrel because there are different sizes of paintballs for it. Well any paintball site that sells paintballs should say what bore size it requires for it to be used. I think the most common bore is a medium bore which is .689 . well any ways I hope my info helps ya.............

The most importnat thing bout the bore of the barrel is that it matched ur paint perfectyl, If i were u get, a medium to small bore barrel because all high quiality paints will fit it, and one of the most important facts to accuracy and gange is ur paint to barrel match

Yep it makes a huge difference in play. Accuracy, breakage ect. ect. ect... also the time of day you play has a big effect on ball play because of temperature and humidity, not only of the balls but your barrel and propellant too.
Good test is to take your barrel off and place a ball into one end and blow it through the barrel, if it just falls thru the barrel or takes no real effort on your part to blow it thru, then the balls too small. Try different balls until you find a brand that takes moderate pressure to blow thru, if you find a brand that you cannot blow through at all, its too big then.
One last thing... do this at the paintball dealers if possible (if they're kool should be no prob.) before you buy your balls.
