if you order from EPBO they will give you instructions, and you should be able to phone them if you encounter any problems

no, you can't use the tapeworm as well. the tapeworm and LPR are both solenoid optimisers, its just that the LPR does one h*ll of a better job than the tapeworm (not that the tapeworm is bad)

i don't know what you mean by front cap, but i think that what you are refering to as a 'front cap' is the LPR itself (if it looks like a cocker reg then that is the LPR)

i'm not sure how low the pressure to the solenoid can go, but that is not the point of an LPR.- An LPR works as a solenoid optimiser, but with the additional bonus that it keeps the pressure to the solenoid separate, this means that you can increase the pressure from your max-flo (and get better efficiency) whilst not risking any damage to the solenoid. you canget adjustable ones that do lower the pressure to your solenoid though, and they can be put low enough to stop on most shells, but this will not give you good eficiency.

btw, make sure you get the right LPR for you as there are many on the market, if you like to fiddle with your marker and really know what you are doing then get an adjustable one, otherwise get a preset one as they offer all of the benefits but none of the confusion.

NOTE: when you first install it don't expect to see great results straight away as it will take a while to wear in before you can get the best efficiency

Can you use the tapeworm? No, either/or you cannot have both.

Do you have to use the front cap? No I have mine mounted in place of the prv on the v/a.

As far as setup? I finally got to play last Sunday. I setup the dwell to a minimum setting. My marker will not shoot with it ALL the way down. I set it to where it started shooting, then just a little more. Set the maxy to 220#. Turned the lpr way down and went to the chrono. The fanal setting on the lpr was 160#. When I first shot the velocity was all over (+/-10fps). Throughout the day I would take a few shots when I passed the chrono. By the end of the day (a full case) it was +/-2fps.

i don't think he aksed whether you had to put it on the front cap, he said "do i hafta get that butt-ugly front cap" to which i think he is refering to the lpr itself

Code Blue- what do you mean by "that butt-ugly front cap", can you show us a picture/link us to one?

I guess that I sort of assumed that. EPBO has a drop-in kit that includes a front cap. I personnally have the EPBO drop-in without the cap. It came with a JHII instead of a Kapp, works fine on the v/a.
