I think the ULTIMATE sniper gun has got to be the Phantom. You just gotta add some better stuff onto their and leanr some good tactics and BOOM, ur a sniper. But u gotta practice ur accurancy N everything. The gun is not what makes u a good sniper

Boom? You're a sniper? Far from the truth dude. A sniper needs discipline, marksmanship, camouflage, and overall instinct. Not just a nice gun. But then again, I'm sure you already knew that. I must admit though, that a nice marker does help. Good luck, and good shooting.

Nah dude, I was exaggerating. I was saying how people just think they they need camo, a good gun, and how to be quiet to be a sniper. Your rite, being a sniper, you need to have all those qualities. Patience too...

Don't worry about it dude. I just thought you were some newb flappin his gums about being a sniper since someone had a nice gun. No harm done, and I'm sorry for snappin' at ya. And good call on the patience, I thought I forgot something.
Good luck, and good shooting.

paitience, stealth and ablility to not move is the best quality of snipers. your camo can't work if you are moving. The human eye is best at seeing movement so if you are patient enough and let them come to you they usually dont see you. i once was a sniper but now i mostly play speedball. although i play speedball, i am not one of those tourney players that hate woods ball. woods ball is the reason why i got into this sport

Right and wrong. You see, the patience, camouflage, ability, marksmanship, and overall instinct are truelly what makes a sniper a sniper. But then again, a real paintball sniper (notice the keyword "paintball") has to be able to move suddenly and without hesitance. He must know when he has been compromised, and when he should take the shot. You mentioned allowing the enemy to come to the sniper. Well this is good, but then again, the enemy is not comming to you. They are comming in your direction. That's how you take advantage. You must, though, place yourself in their way if you are to be effective. I hope you get what I'm saying, and that it makes sense to all of you paintball snipers out there. Good luck, and good shooting.

I agree. I think that a sniper has to know when he has to move. Sometimes Snipers have to compromise their role as a sniper and have a straigh out firefight. That goes for all roles in Paintball. For example, say it was a scenario game and you were a medic. Would you not go into a firefight with someone because your role was just to heal people? That is why I think that Paintball sniper's should use semi's instead of pumps. True, pumps can help you play with more skill and help you with your accuracy, but what happens when you do have to move and you get gunned down by someone with a semi?

JEEZ boy you posted it wrong twice! It isnt that hard. Here try this, "Who is allergic to an A D R E N A L I N E rush? A sniper is." That wasn't too hard was it?

Now, i disagree quite a bit. Sitting perfectly still while people are crawling all around you is quite nerve racking and will give you quite the rush of adrenaline. When you see balls flying past your face, at another player, there is adrenaline there, you just must contain that adrenaline, stay still and wait for a shot.

Not nessarily. U can ask local places to sponsor you or even stores. Winning tournaments will only get you publicity.
