Stone Cold Barrel and JT Dark Raider...

I own the JT Dark Raider. The thread size for this gun is supposedly the same as a Spyder. I just recieved the Ston Cold 2 Barrel. I started to screw it on about half a turn into it it stopped. Does this gun take a different thread size? Is there a thread type that looks similar to the Syper threads? is there an adapter I can buy to make it fit any help would be apreciated.

You're screwed, I had the same problem with mine and the TI Boomstick. The JT barrel will fit the spyder but not the other way around. I spent over an hour tightening and loosening it until I got it to fit. Tighten it until it wont go anymore and then back it off. Repeat until it goes in all the way(at least an hour). I also wiped the grit off and used a few drops of oil every 5 minutes or so to allow me to get a extra smidge at a time. I had blisters all over my hands after wards but now it fits perfect. Wear Gloves.

The problem is not that its a totaly different thread pattern, but that the grooves are too narrow. So you have to wear the grooves using the steps above. You will get a lot of grit during the process so keep a bowl of water and a rag nearby.

Thank you so much.. I have been working at it for a while at it seems to be working.. I have ran into a problem.. I tightened it to tight and I cant get it off.. LOL thats my fault. I was about to send the barrel back.. If you need anyhelp I will be glad to help you..
