Well, about two weeks ago I received my viking. Its a stock black #112. Its is very nice and all pretty. Anyways I broke it in, but have not turned the lpr down yet. So all in all it has probably fired about 6 thousand shots of just air and probably another 3000 of real use, cause I used it in our most recent tourney. Only problem now is that when I was using it at a camp I was at (a paintball camp) the thing died on me. I had just finished a nice long pretty string when the next shot I took seemed to be delayed. I would pull the trigger and then about a half second later it would fire. So I tried doing a string and no matter how fast I was pulling the trigger it would fire a consistent 1 bps. So I tried setting the trigger back to its stock self thinking I may have made to Small of a pull and the switch was not reseting. Anyways, I tried everything and its no working. My teammate thinks the board fried. I have emailed aka, and am going to try and call them on Monday, but I just thought I would throw this up and see what the learned folk had to say. (Auction Please help me........hehehe).

Well, I just got an email back from aka. They said that the whole board wasn't fried and it just need to be reprogrammed because something was wrong with one of the individual components. So I just have to send it off, and they will fx it up. Gotta love quaility customer service.

Sorry it took so long for me to see this. Work's been a B lately.
It sounds like the programming needs to be refreshed. It looks like you've gotten it under control.

Yeah, they said that it was a problem with one of the baord components so they are going to test the board and then reprogram it and stuff.

Junkie, does this happen often? Or is it only one in every how ever many that this happens to? Like should I be expecting it to happen to my gun?

It's not very common. I only know of about 6 total this has happened to. Out of all the Vikings and Excaliburs that's not too bad.
