I have the Smart Parts Europe Voodoo bolt. It is very nice. It is much shorter than other bolts so if you look from the side of the gun it looks like you dont have your bolt in. Helpful I think. Its a sleek bolt. I shot it so fast that the smart parts sticker in the back fell off the first time it was used. I would recommend this bolt.

I like my voodoo, (mine doesnt have a sticker on the back of the bolt?!?!?!?) Remember!!! if and or when you get any delrin bolt you really, really should get a new, heavier hammer.

I love my New Designz Bolt. Very smooth and consistant.

Whather you should get a bolt has a lot to do with what is on your gun now. If you have a stock gun, then a Bolt is certainly not the most cost effective mod to get. There is very little MEASURABLE difference in preformance, the big difference is in ease. You do not have to lube a delrin bolt.

In MY opinion mods for an Impulse should go in roughtly this order.
1st Air mod (tape worm/ Iso mod/ LPR)
2nd Adjustable trigger such as a blade
3rd gel grips (smart Parts 'stickys')
4th look into drop forwards and see if you like the way they feel. most people will shoot faster (point better) with a drop forward unless they are already using a short tank.
Upgrade to a faster hopper (unless you startred out with at least a 12v revy)
4th Delrin bolt
5th Slick stick or quicksliver ram
6th SS or TI hammer
7th LPR (IF it wasn't your first mod- you don't wnat to wait any longer!!!)
8th Freak barrel
9th N2 system (if you didn't startout with N2!!!)
10th IF you have a LPR, upgrade to the DART valve

Hope this helps

Hey FOM, what's a DART valve?

Aggressor Valve...improves air efficiency by about 10%. Here's the website to the DART and other new products at Eclipse...http://www.planeteclipse.com/www2001/shop/frames.html

Here's a pic of the valve guide and high and low pressure valves that come with the kit.

I think this is about all u need:

tapeworm - no more bolt stick
blade - ajustable and is way faster if ajusted right
freak - u can use any kind of paint and more acurate and imo it looks way way way better than a progressive

"starboarder2001" - "tapeworm - no more bolt stick"

That is a false statement, I installed a tapeworm the day after I got my impulse and I still have bolt stick.

I had mine installed by a smart parts tech. You are talking about a different type of bolt stick. Fsdo is caused be stickiness and that was the stick I was talking about. You are talking about when you dry fire the impulse and the bolt will just sit in the forward position. Two different things. Yes the tapeworm or another device like it will stop the bolt from staying in the forward posistion when dry fired.

yeah, all the impulse's I have ever seen have had it. I dont mind it, its not that bad. Just take a shot before a game, and its gone.
