does the matrix have an anti chop eye or is it just so low pressure it doesn't need one?

the matrix does not have an anti chop eye, although I have heard some rumors flying around the there may be an eye coming out in the future.

the matrix uses a LPR (the reg you see under the barrel, and running parallel with it) to control the bolt pressure. The bolt pressure can be fine tuned to the point where it will be enough pressure to cycle the bolt, but not enough to chop a ball. in the end it will come down to where you have your ROF set, and how well you have tuned the LPR.

A finely tuned matrix will not have enough pressure on the bolt to chop paint . . . I personally see this as better than an ACE and less susceptible to problems, but others may disagree.

it's not full proof. it helps a lot and the chances of chopping have been really really minimized down to just about nothing. however I have chopped like 2x, so I know it's not a 100% sure thing.

the eye idea is being thrown around right now because it's a bit more realistic. ACE systems have proved themselves to work very effectively. and they can be set up so that the bolt wont cycle period, as opposed to the bolt cycling and pinching. you can see that there is a bit more of a chance. although it's nothing really drastic or anything. It's not impossible to not chop, it's just not likely that you will with a matrix LPR (if it's set up right)

shure 2, multiply by 1000 then u got it right....
or not
but it'd be cheaper then an anti chop, and with an anti chop, when u don't feed, u can get a lil off rithem
