how did you mod your xtra so you dont have to use the vertical elbow? is it hard? i want to try to do that to my xtra because i know that the height of the hopper will bug me. if anyone else knows how to do this let me know too.

its very very easy, all you need is electrical tape :D

i dont really have any tool knowledge so this is the best i could do and it works fine, here it is:

Hey guys, i figured a way to securely attach the hopper to the vert feed without using that long *** "elbow". All you need is electrical tape, yes electrical tape. And it will only take a couple minutes. Ok here are the steps:

1. Take your hopper and wrap some tape around the bottom part of it where you would usually attach the elbow to. This is to make it tight so it cant loosen up.

2. Slide the hopper onto the vert feed. If it doesnt fit snug enough then you should place 1 layer of electrical tape at the top of the vert feed.

I did this to my spyder xtra and now it is shorter than my brother's sts g3. Yeah i did test it for secureness, i filled up my regular vl 200 up with premium and turned my gun upside down and shook it, it stayed secure nothing budged. the only movement is turning, but this is a problem with all elbows , etc.
