I'm getting an M98 custom, flatline (no I'm using my other barrel for speedball), 6 stage aci expansion chamber, double trigger, M16 stock(I'll take that off for speedball), die sticky grip, and of course JT Decals. This Gun won't have that great rate of fire(it will still be a ****** gun). I'm getting a doulble trigger is that enought? What makes the rate of fire so expensive (it's the difference between most guns). I don't have money to waste on paintballs, so why would I want a hi rate of fire?

no it isn't

don't get an rt for it either

a high rate of fire is not needed only if you have no skill

high rate of fire helps in speedball, there is a reason that pros use angels over sniper 2s and phantoms.

a high rate of fire is always a plus, but i guess as long as you are laying your paint right were you want to that's all that matters right.

after you pass about 4-5 bps, speed isn't that important, i mean think about it, 4-5 bps is purty fast, and will keep you in the upper ranks of recball

RT guns are really fun to shoot. But yeah, If you can do 5 bps that's plenty.

It is a factor in the sport. But not essential. I agree with the ideas in this thread. 4-5 bps is plenty.

people who play tourneys, and lots of speedball want the high rate of fire. it intimidats the opponent and it also gives off a higher percent of hitting something. its also good to keep ur opponent stuck behind a bunker.
there lots of different reasons to have high rof.
