Does anyone know the difference between automags, autocockers, minimags, and semiautos. I know that cockers and mags are supposedly better than your run of the mill semiautos. But what really makes the differences? I've seen some good deals on Ebay and I'm considering getting an automag since cockers are usually for the "mechanically gifted". I think a want a mag because the semiautos I play w/ at the field are really bad especially when you play against a guy who brings an Angel :P. What do you guys think about this???

a minimag is an automag that had its body shortened for a more compact feel, mags have really high rates of fire for a semi auto gun
an autococker shoots slower(but still fast) than an automag but is considered to be more accurate and have longer distance
all of them are semi auto guns (a gun that recocks itself so you dont have to cock it every time you shoot, a full auto is a gun that you dont have to release the trigger in order to shoot the gun)
the cockers arent bad to take care of as long as you dont try to "fix" them, unless of couse if they dont shoot

Just a comment on the cocker. If you want to be able to start right out of the box, and have little troubles from the get go, get a mag(also there a bit faster).
I have a cocker, the worst thing you can do is mess with all the cool little screws, and such that time it if you don't know what your doing, however, the trade off is your gun is more cusomizable, you get greater distance and improved accuracy.
Disclaimer:
This is a compilation of info I have learned from my own expiriences, if you have a diffrent idea, please don't flame me, just post your diffrent expirience, we want to keep the forum clean.
ACTUALLY if you get some one(like an airsmith or something thats been playing paintball alot or knows alot about cockers)then if you time it right then you CAN shoot the cocker and it will have a higher rate of fire than the mag.

When I was talking about ROF(rate of fire) on the cocker, for a clarification I meant. Out fo the box you'll be able to fire a mag faster than the autocoker, as you strengthen that trigger finger you'll fire just as fast if not faster, a trigger job helps too.
