View Full Version : companys making lowend electros?

alright now. this is a thread about something that is appaling. highend companys making lowend electros. WGP making bruziers. bushy making the b2k. spyder making the espirt and that series. The espirit really botheres me alot. before i would even consider putting an egrip on my marker (if i would at all) i would have to have a new bolt, a new valve, nitro, and polished internals. i, personally would never electrosize my old shutter because taking a gun that was made to be mechanical and screwing some electronics on it is first of all, stupid and second of all usless for the most part. the whole spyder line is modeled after the same spyder marker everything except for the e grip. the espirit w/the compact the amg for the shutter and so on. if you take somthing made for mechanics (the parts of the non-spyder e series) and anno them that doesnt make them any better for putting an electronic trigger on them. the guns themselfs are not made for fast firing rates of 10-14 bps. the valves are not made to withstand that many impacts within such a small timeframe and the bolt is not made to thrust at that speed. the result is prob. alot of chopped balls and abye a broken gun in the long run. ovbiously all the companys jumping on the low end electro market need to make $$$ and are dong so. but i respect the companys who didnt do this. AGD and WDP have always make top quality guns and are continuing to do so. smartparts have just recently started making guns that are up to the tourney standards. there are someothers too. what do you think about this? just personally it gets me real fired up. :pissed:
wow, u are one ignorant person. the spyder can cycle 44 times a second. i definetly think it can handle 15 bps. in fact someone just did that...
http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76322
and if u doubt him i kill you. you dont even have to polish anything, u can buy the mako storm frame for the automag you got there, slap it on, and be firing however fast u want. what makes u think ur automag is any better designed? its just a backwards spyder.

magik i understand what your saying and agree for the most part..
once again.. halB you suck ;) j\k
check this out.. WGP has a new low-end electro
http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/paintguns/eranger/release.shtml
i think hes just mad he has a cocker which has a capped number of bps, when his shutter with an e frame could shoot a hell of a lot faster

Alrighty.... let me break that down
#1..... ICD or Indian Creek Designs makes the Bushmaster and I do NOT consider it to be a "lowend electro"... I don't think most people do.
#2..... Smart Parts has just recently? What did they do recently? The Impulse... It's almost 3 years old, that's not RECENT.... The Shocker is over 6 years old... and let me remind you that the AA's TORE UP the Nppl with Shockers... so let's check what you don't deem "tourny standard"
#3.... What gets me fired up is when people open their mouths and start talking without checking to see if what's coming out makes sense or just makes the air stink.

:agree:
yeah, since when are b2k's low end? if you consider a b2k
low end then you would consider an impulse low end
because they're are nearly the same. Even the bko
isen't low end. You really should know what
you are talking about before you start posting some
mindless crap

agree about what? they were designed to go 44 times a second. i think it could handle 15 bps

My problem with Kingman....
Is the fact they put out a new gun every 2 weeks... and the difference?
They are using cheaper and cheaper materials each time...
PMI is going the opposite way and make better and better quality low ends each time (but they've only done one...... confusing :) )
bah, who cares f they make so many markers? more to choose from. u just gotta get a high quality one (not a sport) and ur good. i love my tl plus, and im gonna upgrade that mother

if you think of it this way
remember when flash was o so great but so expensive
and than comes along the clone e99 but cheaper and now everyone wants that
they just wanna mkae business in a somewhat desperate way

what do you mean "DESIGNED" to go 44 bps? if they can why doesnt kingman try to sell their markers based on that fact.. did i miss something :eyes:

well it would be bad to market the gun as a blender, cause that would be what u get witht he loaders of today

I didn't know about the Pro-E.....
I do kinda like the E-Force if it wasn't the gun responsible for a bruised kidney a month or two back.....

Actualy hal your wrong. They arnt designed to maintain insane rates of fire. Ever seen bad company play? they pull that trigger like a crazy man on speed. After the game ever follow them back to there tent, they have to replace the sears on there guns after every single game

ill believe it when i hear it from someone who doesnt work for anti flag records, while overseeing their OWN record label, while still managing to be mike and ollie from dynasty

#1 the b2k is not the same as a bushmaster. it is a new entry level electro from ICD
#2 comparitivly it has not been around for as long as cockers/ mags
#3 i just brushed my teeth. :D

Can you not count?
You only have to post once.......
#1. Don't muddle up your sentences with ambiguous reference next time....
#2. If 6 years is recent, boy, then you are an infant. Recent in the paintball world is less than a year. Get some sense of time.
#3. Who cares? The point remains valid... don't go and complain to the world without getting a decent and coherent thought in your head first.

HAHA ok what guns were spart parts making before?
I SCOFF AT YOUR IGNORANCE
Also halb...um your facts are wrong...My AMG is now on its 3erd sear....sooooo you should stop digging yourself a hole, i am sure someone mentioned this, but bad company always is replaceing the sear.
Altho i like my amg....i do hate grip frames...its all about true electros.
Spyder is definatally going bad. They have to many guns that are the same, with the same grip frame. See they take one of there semi guns and beat the stock grip frame and put there frame on is and call it a esperit. Although i think spyder semis are tight....There electros should be melted into a big ball and put on the high way as a torist atraction

agreed just because that idea was pointless

ok, I think that they mean by b2k is the bko, and this gun may be inexpensive but it is not low end. It is true electro, no sear or to kill or anything. And the electric spyder with no bottom line, so what? seriously, i would probally buy that over the other one because it's cheaper and i could put my own stuff on it. And if they want a bottom line they're like 10 bucks. And yeah they do strip sears, doesn't mean they're a bad gun. And magic cocker, what about WGP line of blow backs? do you hate them for that too? seriously, they are putting these electros out there for people that can't afford high end stuff, too freaking bad.

07-31-2002, 08:05 AM
Well... WGP just bought out Nu-Line... the make of the Bruizers.

its pretty weird...and the thing is the e-spirit cost as much as an e-frame... i'd just buy that, take the frame off, and then have 2 working guns...but...
the imagine is the same thing as the espirit except w/ a crappy x-chamber and bottom line...but since alot of people normally get a reg or a good x-chamber w/ an elctro then they could get there own, insted of wasnting the money of kingmans x-chamber/reg... kingman makes alot of choices...:|

I'd been hearing all about this E-Marker rage, so I went out on a lark and bought the cheapest one out there - Black Dragun Compact.
You know what? It's a blast to play with, and seems to have no trouble keeping up with a high fire rate. Sure it's light and cheap, but...
It's a Spyder clone, and so cannot be compared to the real electro pneumatic markers, but you know what? Head to head, with equally skilled players, the cheapo marker will probably score as many times as the expensive one.
And you know what also? I'm pretty sure the little cheap Spyders and other clones will end up needing a lot less TLC than the high-end markers, which are essentially a lot of work to maintain.

Oh yes! This Angel, whew! I mean I had to squeeze out like atleast 3 drops of Gold Cup last month, and then (here's the biggy!) I had to air it up and shoot it through! I mean for goodness sakes, I damn near chipped a fingernail doing it!
;)
ya, but if it breaks, ur screwed

07-31-2002, 03:12 PM
Arrgh! You got me there, but then I don't know much about care and feeding of Angels in particular.
So, what is it those high-tech guys spend all their time goofing with between games, missing games, or playing with their backup because their big gun is not working?
Shazbot
07-31-2002, 06:18 PM
they play with their backup because sometimes they get a bit of conscience pounding us low-end-marker people with their amazing setups

You know, I've been in paintball since... gasp... the 'eighties, and if I've only learned one thing, it's that no matter how well equipped you are, it just don't matter when you come up against someone with nerve, skill, and experience. Obviously, your marker has to be in the same general ball park, otherwise it'll be a big challenge. I believe the cheapo electros put everyone in the ballpark, give or take a few.
I have no problem sharing the field with those who would spend big bucks for a marker. Just don't expect to find easy prey. And don't get snooty, either, even if you win. It's just not sportsmanlike.
Really only three drops of oil? No foolin'.
DasBaldDog
07-31-2002, 07:47 PM
My shocker may not be the least complicated gun when it comes to care.... but it's sure a damn lot easier than a cocker.....
You could tear the Shocker down... mix ALL the parts in a giant bag and spread them before me on a table and I'll have it back together working even better than before in 10 minutes or less. (and that includes FULL lubing)
How do I know.... I do it every time I clean... but I don't use a bag.... I just mix them around on my work table.
FrOnTMaN
07-31-2002, 08:16 PM
yea the dropping of the oils gets alot of people. what they mean by drops it small squeezes of the bottle, not tablespoons.
just thought id clear thatup for all those who think since a marker is "high end" its plauged by high maintance.

07-31-2002, 08:20 PM
Yeah but I'm not sure if I'mma have that kind of time to do it though....
I'd have to write a script, find people to play the parts, call up some contacts and get some fields borrowed, possibly a few celeb cameos (some Am A teams or something) and just imagine the paint costs alone... especially if we have to do multiple takes (almost a certainty)....
I've got enough expierence doing student films to know how to streamline it... but it's hard to streamline a friggin freight train.

i actually included the WGP marker on the list of electros. yes i am sorry i was mistaken about the B@k vs BKO that was my fault and i was wrong. i still think that low end electros (ones that use a blowback mechanism) and are not made take the constant abuse on the mechanical parts (sear.) im not saying they cant keep up im just saying the companys are sacrificing quality for profit.
comeon dassie, make the video!!! think of the hilarity
