I am thinking of getting a Black Dragon LCD. I have seen in other threads that the battery does not come with the Gun???Right? If so does the Java 9.6V work with the LCD Dragon. If not which battery.

What about the bolt? Spyder compatible bolts work? Is the stock bolt venturi style or open faced?

Also hows the stock two piece barrell? Are the spyder barrells compatible? I have an dye ultralite that I used on my spyder tlplus.

I am also wondering if any of you who have this have any problems with the gun. I have read mixed reviews on this site.

Thanks for your help.

a). I'm not sure if it takes Java 9.6V batteries, but I am sure that it takes regular 9V batteries.

b). I'm pretty sure the Black Dragun is compatible with pretty much most Spyder parts.

c). I'm not sure how the stock barrel is, but I know that the Black Dragun is compatible with Spyder barrels.

got to paintballgateway.com Check it Products makes a special derlin bolt just for the black dragun

you just use normal 9volts and i dont think 9.6 would work

and yes it is spyder threads

9.6 would work.

Its flush cocking so you could change that if you wanted but I don't know why you'd want to, unless you wanted a delrin from paintballgateway.com. Yes Its venturi.

The two piece barrel is fine, I'd say its the same as any stock barrel but I'd suggest getting a barrel more customized to the paint you use.

Thats not the one he means hal.

9.6 would acutally be better. Nerobro at PBN had done a test with a oscilloscope and had shown that a 9v cannot supply the needed power and on the full function frames that are limited to 20bps that they dont acutally go at 20hz. 20bps is the max since M3 had it directly connected to a power source, the board could draw all the milliamps it needed

9.6v 500-600mAh is what he said was needed, rare battery......

Thanks for you guys input, I will probably go to paintballgateway.com. and order the LCD pewter, chrome, or dark blue.

As far as the battery, how long will the 9v last? Have you guys ever tried rechargable 9V? If so what brand?

Thanks,

you dont need a new trigger, but they are REALLY REALLY nice. im pretty sure the LCD trigger is plastic too, but im not certain. batteries last like 20,000 shots off of a fresh battery.

Thanks Hal,

But I live in Hawaii, and I don't think paintballinc ships to hawaii. Besides I have had a good experience with paintball gateway and when looking at how much the marker is, I want to make sure that I can count on them to take care of my order.

Hal,

We love spam here but I think the travel channel overrates it a bit. True we consume the most in America, but most people here don't eat it everyday. And we aren't making fancy spam ala king or pot roast spam dishes out of it. The best way to eat it of course is the spam musibi. A thin slice of spam wrapped with rice by a piece of nori (green seaweed). Its like a giant spam sushi.

I just received my Black Dragun LCD from www.actionvillage.com today, only took 3 days UPS ground[Me being in New Jersey]. I inspected it and it looks immaculate! Also, it DID NOT come cocked! *thanks god*

If you are looking for a good deal, grab your gun from there, best prices I have seen thus far on the internet.

I also ordered a barrel and a new bolt from paintball gateway, but had a problem with them double charging my debit card, thus putting my checking account in a negative balance. I got it straightened out, but the 2 toll calls to California didn't help any.

*edit* also, the Dragun from actionvillage came with the custom aluminum trigger and aluminum trigger frame, which I do not believe the other site offered for their gun without paying extra.
