The O rings on a used BD basic I picked up were - one orange, one black- both kind of "strechy". Still working , but I replaced w/bottle rings just to see.... Gun works, but bottle rings are firmer and appear slightly larger. Anyone have any insight?

So -- What -- No one has any input on the specifics of the O rings on the Black Dragun bolt?

lol I appreciate the perspective. All I want to know is:What are the stock one made of - Can any others be used in their place - do I have to get "Black Dragun" O rings for replacements?

I don't really know, I've never had to change mine. Even after 7 months. It comes with an extra set anyway. I'm guessing that their is a difference sheerly because there would be no other reason to make them different colors.

Sounds logical. Bought mine used - no extra set.

Anybody else have any ideas?

The o rings you use on your co2 tank or HPA tanks are made of Urethane (which are harder that the bolt o rings) and the bolt oringd are made of BUNA/NITRILE. If im wrong fell free to correct me:eyes: :)

Guy at the local store told me BUNA is simply Spanish for Rubber. Anyone know for sure?

Just go buy some spyder bolt o-rings they should work just fine. the bottle o-rings are slightly thicker and they stretch easier.

I replaced the mushy colored o-rings with a couple of "hard" tank o-rings, and it works just fine. The colored o-rings looked kind of flimsy to me.
