arite i went to paintball tonite and my local indoor arena. I was doin great at first, getting at least 2 kills per game (it was 5 on 5) When i was killed, it was always hopper hits. anyway nite progressed and i kep doing good. i messed up a few times (some1 on my team had there hopper turned backwords and i couldnt tell if he was on my team or the other b/c he wasnt shooting, i only saw the hopper, and i shot at him once and some guys on the side yelled to me he was on my team) so i did arite...made some rookie mistakes. then this 1 dip **** ref starting pissing me off. i was in the middle of getting shot at when he starts spraying me with a waterbottle from the side lines. i told him to go the hell away and he did. then my friend got out and was listenen to 2 refs talk and the same ref was saying how bad i was cause i was hiding and i was worthless and i was stupid for getting a 700 gun...meanwhile on the playing field, me and some guy were exchanging fire, i got him and then some other guy and this stupid ref is still runnin his mouth. i got really pissed. i told him after the game, "where u the guy sayin stuff bout me b4?" he said yes, so instead of flipping on him and getting possibly kicked out i just walked away. the another 1 of my friends heard a different ref say "this kid is worthless" but we didnt know who he was talking about. if it was me then the refs r blind. i will admit i was hiding alittle, but i was doing alotta shooting. i only had 800 balls so i was conserving but these refs were such jackas$. my friend looked at my after the game and saw the welts i had (i was upfront and ppl were shooting at me from behind) and said "the refs were blind, cause u wouldnt have welts if u were hiding" so i dunno i am really pissed bout that. i think i did well tonite considering i am still learning how to work this gun and stuff. anyway gun is great. u gotta watch out for the height though. hopper hits were really common. i used JT Maxims and i didnt have a problem. no bounces or anything that i knew of. it really impressed me.

o and by the way i have been playing for bout 6 monthes and i bought my impy like 2 weeks ago. so i am still a rookie using a pro gun, but i think i did well tonite.

Thats why i like my field, gun hits dont count. :)

Man that sucks, our ref is really cool. lol he's the only ref too. Ive seen him come out there drunk before, and he's funny as hell when hes drunk! Hes also one of the best players on the field, but i dont see how. Ive only seen him play twice and the rest of the time he refs, but he is damn good. I think he comes on sundays though, i only go on saturdays. except for today, my cousin was going out to play and i couldnt resist (he hasnt played for years, and hes told me some amazing stories  ) He has a really nice tricked out cocker, and he did very well in the woods field, better than me (god i hate woods). But it was a different story on the speedball field, o yes indeedy :D

Dont let that guy get to ya. Ignore him, keep on playing, and he'll eventually shut up.

high velocity in bayshore. and i wont let him get to me monekybacon...he pissed me off, but i am ingnorin him....i will shut him up once i practice more. i think most ppl see my gun and expect me to be playing pro and i try to do wat i can but when i dont play like a pro they get frustrated. but i am gunna keep goin out there and doin wat i can. any tips on how to improve my game are welcome. thanx

if i were you i would tell the head ref about what the other refs were saying/doing and i would say to him i shouldnt have to put up w/this when i pay money to have a good time...like mokey said dont listen to them

a tip for hopper hits... lean your gun the opposite way of which your are shooting. i.e shooting out the riht saide have your gun tilted to the left leaving less of you gun exposed and lowering your profile

yeah you should be doing that, but if you dont do it right then you will have less of your hopper showing but in turn you will be exposing a lot more of your elbow and arm.

Go practice in the mirror, thats what i do. get on the left side of the mirror, and pretend the edge of it is the edge of the bunker. youll see what i mean.
