Is the DYE Xcel barrel good for my Compact 2000?

I was looking around for a barrel for my Spyder Compact 2000 and I found this one and I was like "WOW" because people told me that DYE barrels are excellent. I found it for $44.99. Is this a good deal? Is it worth buying?

I would get a bigshot over the dye xcel, if people were complimenting dye it was probably about the boomstick. the Bigshot is $49.99 at Paintballbarrels.com and is accurate.
