Impulse won't Shoot [Archive]

Hey, I just got a vision impulse from e-paintballoutlet with a tapeworm, sticky grips, an on-off antisyphon tank. I attach the tank and set the pressure and all that like they say in the manual, and the bolt even cocks itself when i attach the tank. But I turn the gun on and pull the trigger and it just does nothing. I know it knows I'm pulling the trigger because the LED light blinks when I pull it. I really don't know what's wrong with it so I would really appreciate some help. THX IN ADVANCE!!!

whats the output of your max-flow (the reg) set at?

about 150, that's what the manual said to shoot it at the first time, is there a safety on the impulse, cause i see these two pins(not the dwell) and they don't seem to stay in one place or do anything

those do nothing except for hold the trigger in place. do you have paint in it while your shooting it? its a vision may i remind you, and will not shoot unless you have paint in it.

I have tried it with paint and without. Although, I don't even have the vision on so it shouldn't matter (that's what the book says). I'm really at my wits end, I can pull the bolt out with just the cocking pin and it doesn't have anything connected to it, I think i might take the hammer out and see if that's the problem.

this is either a obvious problem were just not seeing or something very wierd is going on with your gun. :eyes: probably something obvius though, i hope.

did you turn your tank on? did you turn the gun on? did you call smart parts? did you get your tank filled? did you through it on the floor? thats what i do when something doesn't work for me!

do these exact steps....

set reg to 180
turn gun on
raise dwell all the way
turn dwell down 8 beeps
shoot gun

are you sure you bolt pin is actually in the slot of the hammer that it is supposed to be in???

how about more detail than just "it wont shoot." When you pull the trigger you said the light is blinking. so we know that, do you hear any sound at all? Like any air moving???
does the bolt move at all???

Try taking it to your local paint shop, see if they can spot what's wrong. The next step after that would be to ask Smart Parts.
