I think the biggest upgrade for any gun is nitro and an aftermarket barrel.

a barrel is the first thing.
closed bolt helps, so does low pressure. consistent air flow from a good regulator also helps with consitency.

if your guns not consitently shooting it is shooting different speeds easch time tis fired so it will be going to different spots a good barrel and consistent marker = good accuracy

i think what makes my gun accurate is the huge inflatable whistle i use for a site. its dead accurate. i suggest u get an inflatable whistle.
and dude i dont think u need consistinsy for accuracy. i was shot by a guy that didn't have a barrel on his gun and damn it still hurt.
hey, he's talking about me. I shot him with my spyder TL with no barrel! I was so proud.

what are you talking about you dont need consistency for accuracy?!?! consisteny IS accuracy. when balls dont go to the same spot its because they are going faster or slower than the previous shot, if they all are the same speed they will stay in a very tight pattern

A lot of things added together. Every upgrade you make will help your accuracy a little, also, does a gun still work decent w/ out the barrell. if so, that would be cool to have like a 2 inch barrell HAHA.
Air,gun itself,bolt,barrel,main springs,pressure,your sight,your eye,your paint,your paint and barel match.

For all of you who voted (or will vote) for "open v. closed bolt", read this:

Definetly the barrel and Paint match up what do you shoot paint of coars so you have to get the right paint to match your barrel

nonon, this poll is all wrong, it should be what makes a marker precise, accuracy is in accord with user ability to use that presion

First thing is paint to barrel match. That is first and foremost. Why? Because even if you have everything else in spades, if you dont have a good barrel to paint match - you dont got jack.
Guesswho?

You have to go with barrel, a stock barrel is like having no barrel, only a little, wait, no it is like having no barrel!

i think the one thing that helps the most is the paint itself. if the paint has dimples or if it is swolle than thats gonna mess it up the most. what most people forget is the most important thing in paintball is the kind of paint u use. i hate it when people say a gun is inaccurate when the real reason is they were using cheap paint.
