Ok, after i bought my first 2000 paintballs( and wasnt happy), i was convinced to order another 1000 to try them out. HOLY ****!!! This paint works great. 1000 paintballs throught the gun, zero breaks. THe fill is extremely thick too, so when someone was hit, i knew it, and there was no way for ne one who tried to wipe it. The acuracy was excellent, the paint didnt curve. I was also impressed, at least this time, by the shipping. The paintballs came form ca to ct, and were all intact. I saw no difference in marbs, except these paintballs break on the target more readily. Its really hard to copare paintballs, but all i know is that marbs cost me 75, dont break in my barrel, are accurate, and most of the time break on the target, while dirct hit cost me 40 plus shipping, dont break in my barrel, are accurate, extremlyt hard to wipe, and always broke on contact, so, i wonder what paint ill be using more often. :D
A very satisfied customer,(and not osmeon who works for the store)

What is the actual bore size of Direct Hit? What barrels have the same bore size? They roll right through my SmartParts All American, so I'm going to buy something a little bit smaller bore.

Thanks for the info. Even though it shoots really well through larger barrels, don't you think that it might shoot even better in a smaller bore barrel? Maybe the Javelin super tight? I think that's what it's called anyway.

mabey itll but its not paint match. the boomer is honed so well there isnt a smaller barrel that shoots that good. if you take out barel-paint match than its all quality of barrel itself boomer=good

my next case of paint will be direct hit considering i live like only 50miles from them. ive found that boomsticks only have problems with larger paint and paint that is kinda deformed.

i used it in a 14 inch small bored boomstick, and they worked great. Oh yeah, dwags713, about ur post on the shipping problems, i was the one who had a shipping problem, and wasnt pleased with the paint. But after trying out direct hit when it is in good conditiont, it worked extremely well, so i figured id post what i thought now
I think what ill do is recomend them to maslrs in ct, i know matts outback already uses the paint, but maslarss would like the idea of having cheap paint that cant be wiped, especially for their big gmaes

An awesome barrel for direct hit paintballs is the custom J&J barrel found on the STO autococker. This is a very small bore barrel making the Direct Hit paintballs perfect. The barrel is a actual small bore barrel. The boomstick is a small to medium barrel making it universal for the two paint types, however you sacrafice a LITTLE in accuracy and flight. By little I do mean little. Probably not enough difference for us to notice, but I don't know.
Don't read my signature, things are changing.

The Autospirit has the smallest bore that I know of.
Direct hit has a better match and wont roll out of it.
It is MORE ACCURATE than the mighty Boomstick.
Its less popular because it is just plain butt-ugly. The J&J 2 piece and the Boomstick are cool looking barrels that make any marker look good. If you got a sweet marker - you dont put fugly barrel on it no matter how good it really is.
This goes for Hellfire, All Star, and other very small bore paints. Autospirit is the one you want.

I was also going to say that a barrel system like a FREAK would be great too due to inconsistant sizes.
Lot to lot the sizes can be different - but all the ball in one bag are better.

i would say the freak system is unnecesary. it works well in most barrels regardless of size so rather than paying so muhc for right bore size, pay for a really good hone job (or whatever its called) like in the boomer. i dont mean t pla my barrel envy, but its the best barrel iv seen
