what do you guys think the best barrel for a cocker is and what length?

the best barrel is the one that is in your budget, fits the paint you most commonly shoot well and has what you want. I like 12" barrels, some people swear by other sizes, it's personal preference. I would get a Lapco Big Shot for medium paint or Autospirit if you shoot smaller paint more. If you want a quieter barrel, maybe a tear drop . . . SS or aluminum - shiny or light weight?

There is no best barrel for a certain type of gun, but if you want it to perform well, you gotta choose the bore size that matches your paint.

I like barrels with about a .689 bore size--the most common size (medium). I also like my barrels 12 inches in length...easy to point and tuck with.
