This question may seem stupid to any one who knows what a planet eclipse gun is (and their quality), but i just wanted your opinion...
Heres the deal:
I currently own a Shocker 2K 4X4 and am looking to top off to my "best" gun. The intimidater special edition looks sweeet and i've heard a lot of good things about it including: the ACE (Anti-choping eye) feature, the quik release bolt, the duel regulated system, the barral(jj full tilt!), the anodizing and milling!, double trigger, the LCD feature, and the shooting modes.
The only bad things i've heard about it include: th echeap plastic grips, and the bolt.

Now to the shocker from eclipse
The Planet Eclipse Shocker 4X4 with vert. feed looks very nice. Even though it is know as a "shoe box with a barrel sticking out of it" Planet has done a very good job with their shallow milling and sweeeet anodizing job. Just some features include: Extensive milling and anodizing job, vert. feed, double trigger, low pressure operation, all american tear drop barrel, max flow reg-mounted vertically, rokit pistion, external on-off switch, 9V converter, and bottem line setup.
some bad features include:
the usual "gas hoggage" feature, "dumpy" bottem line(duck bill ASA adapter), and "clunkiness"

Time to cast your ballots.
If you arn't knolegded on either of these guns, or have nover shot on of them than please don't post moronic responses!
Thanx if you respond, i am very confused, and don't know which review to view as the best and just need someone to teel the sole truth about these Electro guns.

Thanx :)

The two problems you listed have been fixed on the intimmy, so it's nothin but good now. The bolt used to snap in half, but that has LONG ago been fixed, and the grips, though ugly are super comfortable. I've taken a few direct hits and not had em break, but if they do break, Bob has new upgraded thicker grips, with some miling on em (to improve your grip on em) that he'll send your way for free if you fudge up your grip. Almost any part of the gun I've heard anyone have screw up on them, Bob has replaced free. Eye covers, bolts, cup seals, hammers, grips whatever. He stands behind his product and that should be enough to sell anyone. intimidator for sure.

btw, the intimidator forum in paintballcity has a very active group of members who have been able to troubleshoot any problem i've heard of, so if something goes wrong they can help you as well. Alot of former shocker owners in there too :)

yeah, i've heard ALOT of good things about the Intimidator. ALso, i've heard that Bob Long's customer service is the best. You can't go wrong with the Intimidator, plus it's SO much cheaper than the Planet Eclipse Shocker, but just as good, maybe even better.

I didn't vote 'cause I don't know either of those guns. I just wanted to say that this pole illustrates the reason polls are valuable. Thank you for giving polls a good name smartball:).

Plus, there are set screws inside the trigger so you can change trigger length as well as trigger spring tension very easily. SO you can shorten it to a mouseclick, or make it slightly longer, and mess around with it and find something you like, because you can change it easily rather than having to get a trigger job

Well geuss i can't be mad but i just thought more people would stand be the Planet products but hey, If the Timmid's better, then it's just better! plus i can save about oh.... $100 whopping bucks! I wasn't too concerned about money but $100 is $100 (or a new revi! too bad old one broke). By The Way, any one here live in PA, in the USA? Just wonderin if they knew that Skirmish is having a discount on a day of play for only $3 on Feb. 3 and $4 on Feb. 4! Cheap! any one else interested? Thats a pretty good deal for a great place!

Yep, the intimidator SE comes with 3 barrels, plus you think the shocker looks good with custom milling? Say hello to Ripper milling for the intimidator. Oh how I dream or finding the money for it

http://www.cnc-machining.com/ripper/

No idea who that is, but those are the people who do the milling. The Ripper angels look pretty nice too, not as nice, but nice :)
