I am looking into buying a neck protector for extra protection. Price isnt really an issue because my dad is paying for it. What brand should i get? I was pretty decided on the Redz because most Redz stuff seems to be the best. But i am concerned about the logo on it, because the logo seems a little flashy. Its basically between the JT one and the Redz one. Which one?

I've only seen the JT neck protector so far, but it looks pretty nice. I was going to buy the JT neck protector, but the place I order my stuff from was out of stock at the time.

A guy at the field I was playing at had a neck protector,It had spikes on it looked like my friends pitbull dog collar.
He said the balls break when he gets hit in the neck before contact.

I'd be afraid of stabbing my shoulder or something.

I wear the rez neck protector. I couldn't give a $hit about the logo, but if I did, I would just take it off.

I have the JT neck protector. It's uncomfortable at first, but after playing for 20 min you don't even notice it. It beats getting shot in the larnyx.

I have a JT and it is to thin. Get a 32 Deg. one. Thick, comfy, and they do the job.

Not much too it actually, just a contoured piece of neoprene. It fits me well.. it can hinder turning your head a bit, but not too much.

As predetor said, it can be a little uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it real quick. I forget about it until I walk off the field, even then I usually leave it on until the next game, if the wait isn't too long. It can get a little sweaty, too.

In the end, I wear it for the same reason I wear a cup... dealing with the uncomfortability is better then the alternative.
