flatline barrel extension... silencer?

Does anyone know if the "barrel extension" that is sold at paintballsnipersupplies.com is a silencer? Or is it just a $30 part to make your marker "look" like it has a silencer on it? I have a flatline barrel and its fairly loud, so... if the thing acts as a silencer its worth the $30. Just wondering if anyone else has seen these or know someone that has purchased this item. Thanks in advance Oh, I do play woods ball so I dont want to read a lot of replys about how much the flatline sucks from all you indoor minute long game folks. (no im not trashing you for playing that way, I just dont want to hear it, thats all.)

I checked out that web site and it looks like a good product at least for looks. I would like to know how good it really works.
